Mobile Medical Service for Homeless Single Adults:
FACETS is offering Mobile Medical Service to single homeless adults with the help of a part time nurse practitioner who will provide essential medical services.

Fairfax County along with public and private partnerships are working together on this year's Hypothermia Program. It is the County's goal to end homelessness by 2015.

Camperships: Every child should have the opportunity to experience the joys of summer. Each year, FACETS sends homeless and low-income children to camp. Last year, 48 youth enjoyed 150 weeks of summer adventure. You can support homeless and low-income children’s camperships in a number of ways:

*Donate money from your members/organizations.
*Provide scholarships for FACETS’ children at your own camps.
*Donate camp supplies or store gift cards/certificates.Please contact us to learn more.School Supplies: Last year, FACETS supplied more than 300 homeless and low-income children with school supplies. You can help disadvantaged children start school off on the right foot!Please contact us to learn more.
Foundation Grants:FACETS received a $5,000 grant from the Tiger Woods Foundation to support Family Enrichment Services programs. FACETS thanks the Tiger Woods Foundation for their wonderful support!FACETS received $75,000 from the Freddie Mac Foundation to support its Homeless Outreach Services. FACETS sincerely thanks the Freddie Mac Foundation for their incredible support on behalf of homeless individuals in Fairfax County!

FACETS received CCFP grant funding for FY07 and FY08 to support HIS and FES Programming.

FACETS received 2 grants from anonymous donors. FACETS received $5,000 from the Giving Circle of Hope to support its Girl Power! program. Girl Power! helps develop self-esteem in at-risk youth. FACETS currently operates four Girl Power! programs in the community serving over 50 youth. FACETS thanks the Giving Circle of Hope for their kind support.FACETS received a $20,000 grant from the Philip Graham Foundation for the purchase of a new cargo van for the Hot Meals program and FES Programs.FACETS received a $2,000 grant from the Fairfax City Commission on the Arts for a cultural arts program for low-income housing children.Civic Groups: The Fairfax Host Lion's Club became the first civic group to join FACETS' Founder's Circle, a group who have pledged a minimum of $1,000 a year for 5 years to help sustain FACETS’ programs into the future. We value their participation and support tremendously!Jim McKay Chevrolet made an in-kind contribution of $8,000 towards the purchase of a 2007 passenger van that was purchased with grant funds awarded by Fairfax County. The van will be used as the Mobile Medical Van to assess and refer clients for medical treatment. L. F. Jennings, Inc., a construction company, employees donated more than $4,000 in gifts, toys, and gift cards for the children living in the motels and low-income housing. The Fairfax City Rotary Club hosted, for the seventh year, a Christmas party for the families living in the motels.
